One Pie, Three Wines: A Holiday Pairing Night

One slice of pie. Three wines. You pick the winner.

Pie is on every holiday table, but not every wine goes with it. Join us at Rejoicing Vine for a relaxed evening of tasting and friendly debate as three of our wines go head to head with a classic holiday pie (Apple Pie on 11/14 & Pumpkin Pie on 11/21).

Each guest gets a slice of pie and a half glass of three different wines. Our winemaker, Brent, will start with the basics: how to look at, smell and taste a wine, and what happens when it meets something sweet, spiced or buttery. Then it’s your turn. Take a bite, take a sip, go back and forth, and decide which wine makes the pie better. At the end of the night we’ll count the votes and crown the winning pairing.
