About Super Seed World

Regenerative Organic Seeds for Your Garden

Caleb, our son, has always loved flowers. When he was four we helped him plant some marigolds in our home garden. LIttle did we know that those seeds would grow into SUPER SEED WORLD! From those marigold plants we harvested hundreds of seeds and Caleb decided to sell them at the end of our driveway in the spring. As God does, He was working behind the scenes and we were soon connected with the Hamilton County Master Gardener's annual seed swap. Caleb soon began collecting seeds from all over Caleb collects seeds from all sorts of flowers and produce from home, from grandparents, and from neighbors.

What started in our home garden has expanded to our family farm in Indianapolis - The Rejoicing Vine - where we practice regenerative organic farming for the health of our soil, our bodies, and our world.

Berry Heavy

Sep 7, 2021

Yummy grapes right off the vine! This was the first harvest we've had from our Cabernet Franc vines. It took three years for the vine to get big and strong enough. Waiting is hard but worth it.

Mommy and Daddy bought a farm and a tractor this summer. Elle and I get to touch-a-truck with the new tractor all the time now. I can't wait to plant some flowers on the property next year.

Can you dig it?

Mar 6, 2021

While Mom was sleeping Dad let us help him mix up some dirt and plant some grapevine cuttings.

[Note from Dad] Mixing potting soil inside was probably not my best idea but hey the kids had fun and I got the cuttings planted - BONUS!

Shout out to Brandywine Creek Vineyards & Winery. These catawba & golden muscat cuttings were from the owner Gene Baker. Gene has been fantastic! Honestly can't say enough positive things here, he's been helping me learn the ins and outs of winemaking and grape growing. If you haven't been please go visit Gene's winery on the southside of Indy - you won't be disappointed!

Racoon Race

Sep 13, 2020

Niagra grapes from our garden, we had to get them before the raccoons! Raccoons ate them all last year and I spent a lot of time this year coming up with ideas to keep them out. Including having my dad stay up all night every night to keep watch or spraying them with hot sauce.
