TRV Family Updates Summer 2024 (Victoria)

Meet one of our Summer 2024 interns, Victoria! Victoria is from Zionsville, Indiana, making her our only born and raised Hoosier intern! You will find Victoria cultivating life in the tasting room this summer nurturing and cultivating authentic relationships with our guests.

Victoria graduated from Purdue University, BOILER UP!!!, this spring with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. In the fall, Victoria plans to put her Spanish minor into action, as she will be traveling abroad to Spain for a year to teach English to elementary aged students. 

Victoria’s passion for educating goes beyond the classroom. At The Rejoicing Vine this summer, she will be working to educate our staff and customers on the process of winemaking, from grape to glass, and as well as the sustainable practices that are a priority here. When Victoria is reaching for a Rejoicing Vine wine, she picks up a glass of Regenerative Rosé, not only for its crisp taste, but also because of the story it comes with.

Victoria visited Bordeaux, France in 2023 and there she fell in love with tasting different wines and developing her sommelier palate. Along with her passion for wine, Victoria also enjoys being in nature, creating and experiencing art, and caring for animals in our environment. With her passion for animals comes her continued support for the Indianapolis Humane Society. Another cause close to Victoria’s heart is CASA. During her time at Purdue, she served as her sorority’s philanthropy chair, working closely with CASA to bring joy to children in the foster care system.

Victoria’s friends describe her as a considerate friend, who always brings joy to whatever she puts her mind to. She can do all of this, while being silly and boosting everyone around her mood. 

We are excited to have Victoria with us this summer, and cannot wait to see everything she accomplishes in the future!
